Twenty-First Amendment Congressional Caucus

The client tasked us with crafting a logo for the recently established Congressional Twenty-First Amendment Caucus. This caucus aims to unite Members of Congress (MOCs), fostering an environment for educating lawmakers on industry-related issues and building connections among those who share a passion for the products represented by caucus members.
Challenge
The challenge lay in incorporating all the client’s requirements seamlessly. At a quick glance, the logo needed to convey two key points: firstly, that the group represents BEER, WINE, AND SPIRITS, and secondly, that it embodies a sense of patriotism, either through a red, white, and blue color scheme or patriotic imagery. While many Congressional Caucuses opt for imagery of the Capitol dome in their logos, it was noted that this wasn’t a strict requirement, though not entirely ruled out either.
Solution
Despite the multitude of requests from the client, we tactfully conveyed that certain sacrifices needed to be made in the design process. Through effective communication, we managed to create something that members can proudly wear, ensuring a strong sense of representation without any feelings of being underserved.
